"This is not the pair I want to tell you about. I haven't tried the ones pictured, or the two others. The one I'm wearing is: Women's Hiker Boot Midweight Hiking Socks - Cushion / Plum Heather / S I bought a pair of lightweight Darn Toughs when in VT. Perfect for my 6. 5 feet. So I felt comfortable loading up ahead of a trip to the Rockies. My feet however are swimming in these. Golfing in the cold last night, I had material tucking itself between my toes and sole. Why such a difference? And will they all turn out so big?"

Patterns: Yay! Branding: touch grass, dude!

"I love all three patterns I bought, and they definitely feel sturdy. Hopefully after a bit of wear they will be less scratchy. What I do not love is the huge real estate set aside for product branding on the toes. It makes them look cheap and cheesy and erodes the pleasure of the product for me. "These perfect, winter, outdoor adventure socks! They are roomy in the toe box and retain heat really well. My feet are usually icicles and I wore these socks cross-country skiing and never once even thought about my feet. Other Darn Tough socks have a tighter feel and don’t keep my feet as warm as these. These are also slightly thicker than the mid-weight style but they don’t feel bulky. I’d absolutely purchase another pair!"
