All-Day Merino Wool Comfort

To say we knit with the finest yarns is both a statement of quality and comfort. Merino Wool yarn is indeed a fine yarn – thin, silky, nothing like rag wool. For our more casual socks and dress socks, we knit using our thinnest Merino with a watchful eye over a performance fit. This means our lifestyle socks are sublimely smooth and wrap your foot, truly seamlessly, without bunching or slipping. Add wool’s ability to stay dry, resist odor, and regulate temperature, and you have all-day comfort. At least.

Great Socks

"As much as I love the Darn Tough socks with cushion, these are their first socks with no cushion I have purchased. As with all DT stuff you can tell this is a high quality product. I will say it truly is a lightweight sock and feels thinner than I thought it would be. . . almost too thin for me. My first time buying lightweight socks and for me these would be great to use with sneakers and not so much for work boots. With the lightweight construction they obviously deal with the heat very well and do a reasonable job with handling the moisture. Great socks, just make sure you are good with the very lightweight construction."

Socks

"Great socks, I like the lifetime warranty. I wanted to get some socks that I didn’t have to worry about having them get holes and stuff and that’s why I got these, I was concerned at first about the fit, because they felt loose on my toes, but that fear was settled after I put them through a wash cycle and they molded to my feet better. I’m probably going to buy them again."

not even close to the right size

"I wear a size 10 so got the large which is 10-12. These are so big! And they are not a tube, they have a stitched heal so i either have to have about 2-3 " of extra toe fabric or pull the heal up to my ankle. And even though I cannot wear them comfortably, it looks like I would have an issue with the heal anyway. The stitching is bunched up and creates a dimple which I know would rub poorly. Will not buy again."

Excited To Have Found a Better Sock Brand!

"Been wanting to change out my synthetic polyester socks for a more comfortable and healthy option. After much research, I landed on Darn Tough for the majority of my sock needs. I love the Merino Wool blends and the variety of options (styles, height, weight, cushion) available. They really do make it a 1 stop shop for most of my sock needs. Haven't utilized the warranty service yet, but it's great to know these socks are durable and that they stand behind them."

Lightweight and great for international travel.

"These socks are very comfortable and lightweight. I use them for casual wear as well as when I need to dress up. The socks are easily washable by hand and dry quickly, which is very important to me for traveling light on frequent international travel. I am planning to purchase at least another pair of these soon. Darn Tough has excellent customer service."

Love my DTs!

"Darn Tough makes the best socks and these basic black socks are a staple in my wardrobe. Comfy, long lasting and good looking. I’m wearing them right now!"

Satisfaction guaranteed.

"Long-time customer. Never buy anything else. Affordable wool everyday socks that hold up with a company that stands behind them."

You should buy these.

"These socks are incredibly comfortable and feel like a treat for your feet! I am a podiatrist, and I’ve always worn inexpensive poly/synthetic socks and wasn’t convinced a “nice” sock was worth it, but these are a huge step up from my old Hanes. Now that I’m used to them, I could even tell them apart in a blind test. I started with a few different styles: lightweight hiking, standard lightweight lifestyle with and without custom, and runners with and without cushion. Every pair has exceeded my expectations. I tried Bombas before, but the quality wasn’t great. I wore through the heel in four out of six pairs I tried, and the warranty didn’t help much. These are definitely the socks you want. My feet stay warm on cool days and cool on warm days. I had to remind myself, “You have a real job now. You can afford nice socks. ” I’m so glad I did."

Size wrongly from heel seam.

"I decided to try these hoping I would like no cushion for hot weather, but they we're too much like a dress sock feeling and also the size seemed to long for the heal to line up. I got the same size as I did in 2 other styles of darn tuff that fit perfectly."

Jaderick W. (2/5)

Exceptional socks

"This company will be the last brand of socks I buy. I know that sounds foolish because they're socks, but they are worth it. You can buy these for life, and forget all the store bought brands. The fit nice, they're soft and comfortable, even when they're washing over and over. They don't thin out on the soles after the repeated wears, and if you do happen to put holes in them, like I know I will, they're covered under warranty. I laugh that you have to send them the socks back with holes in them but if that's what they need for product testing, so be it. You can't go wrong with them, and they also make some great socks when it comes to thicker winter socks as well. I truly recommend them!"
