The feel is unusual as they caress the feet. Are they worth 5x the price?? Depends on how you roll. If there's no substitute for top quality in your world, then yes. The cheap stuff will work but are unremarkable and disposable."

I LOVE Darn Tough Socks, these are Great !

"I have several pairs of the Over the Calf length Darn Tough socks, most in Mid weight. The new pair I got in December is now in my rotation and it feels great. Seems to have a little extra length at the top to easily get over my calf and end under my knee. They stay up all day long. Im 64 and while my circulations good I like the mild compression they provide and my legs feel great all day long. I often wear these when playing pickleball in the winter. Keeps me warm, provides a bit of padding, and the ever the calf length works so well. They guarantee them for life and they stand by their guarantee. Just a great Made in America / American Owned company. Supporting them is just a huge bonus. They never smell bad, they dry quickly when I put them close to my heater vent. I wash them with the rest of my clothes but only air dry them. I never knew I could get this excited over socks. Then I tried Darn Tough and Dang-it, Im a fan for life."
