We make one thing, and we make it better than anyone else – ask any thru hiker and you will likely hear the same. In order to unconditionally guarantee a hiking sock for life, it must be durable. It must maintain its comfort, and it has to fit for miles upon miles on-trail. The socks that do return through warranty inform how we can improve. And we do. Our guarantee is a promise to you, but it’s a standard for us. We have yet to produce our best sock, but we get better with every step.

"Not kidding. I bought these for my 2 year old in October. He is in socks all day around the house. . . . so these are his daily footwear. He loves them! They dont wear out and they dont get filthy like the $5 bundle. I'm sure when the warm weather comes he will be back in his lizards (Darn Tough Light sock) ; however, for the winter months these are king!! Dont sleep on this. Get your toddler a pair every week until the drawer/bin is full of Darn Tough. You will not be upset. For reference, I bought kids size small in all sizes including over-the-calf and they get washed not according to the instructions. . . (I feel shame) BUT they fit great. He will be wearing them until he's 5 probably. Think of the money you will save. You're welcome."

"These are so soft and warm. The top of the sock is a bit loose but they don't fall down. I would like to see more heavyweight and full cushion colors and styles in youth sizing."

"gifted to my niece, so not wearing them myself, but they're soft, with a thick warmth sure to keep feet cozy in the cold of ice and snow."

"My kids are very tough on sock so I decided to give the Darn Tough a try because of their warranty. They have not been wearing the socks long enough to tell how well they are going to hold up, but either way the warranty gave me a piece of mind when purchasing socks that are fairly expensive per pair. My kids did comment on the comfort of the socks and were excited to have socks like Dad."
